Progression & useful goals

Room projects, the Bell chapter and guaranteed routes beyond it.

Gear targets

Open Character → Gear targets for two nearby improvements and a longer-term equipment goal. Cards show real stats, source progress, ingredient costs and entry limits. Owned equipment and previously claimed milestones remain separate from unfinished targets. A sold milestone does not renew its first reward; repeatable crafts can still replace sold gear. Rarity alone is not an upgrade, and raid access is not a readiness guarantee.

Make a foothold

The Room workbench costs 18 silver + 2 Iron ore for +4 maximum health and 40 one-time character XP. Balanced sabre costs 20 silver + 3 Iron ore; compared with the Quay blade it trades +2 weapon power for −1 defence. Its first craft gives 40 character XP. Signal ring costs 12 silver + 2 Iron ore + 1 Clean cloth and adds +2 passive power; its craft/drop claim is permanent.

Silence the Bell

Clear Tomas, Nell and Venn. Any two quay clears unlock the Salt Bridge; all three plus the Bridge unlock the Bell-Ringer. The final first clear grants the Signal-breaker sabre, Bell-Silenced title, 26 silver, 1 cloth and 150 character XP. There are no day locks on these contracts. Recover and prepare equipment between attempts.

Beyond the quay

  1. Normal Vault guarantees a Span shield on its first final claim and supplies warrants on every normal final claim.
  2. Normal Foundry guarantees Salt-stitched mitts. Timber Orders offer another guaranteed route to those mitts and a fifth-turn-in Heartwood torque.
  3. Reach character level 4 and claim the matching normal route to open hard dungeons: hard Vault guarantees Floodglass hood; hard Foundry guarantees Furnace hauberk, then Span bow and Chain grips on its next two claims.
  4. Build Smithing and gathering professions for crafted alternatives: Breakwater sabre at Smithing 1, Ironbound mantle at 2, Span bow at 4 and Bell maul at 7.
  5. At level 5 with Bell-Silenced, prepare the weekend raid. First final claim guarantees Bellward boots; third guarantees Ashen seal. Entry is limited and losses remain possible.

Prepare for your first raid

Character → Gear targets now includes a preparation checklist after the Bell chapter. It uses your equipped gear, trained stats, selected companions and reserved supplies. Dock boots cost 8 silver at Oda and fill an otherwise empty defensive slot; Bellward boots remain a stronger raid reward. Furnace hauberk now improves on the Ironbound mantle, Chain grips improve on Salt-stitched mitts, Heartwood torque improves on the compass, and Ashen seal adds defence without losing Signal ring power. These are equipment choices, not guarantees of success. Raid access and the weekly entrance limit are unchanged.
